Founded in 1982, the company Vicente & Costa, Lda. has over 40 years of experience in the development and manufacture of leathercraft in Portugal. It is our tradition to provide the market with quality and innovative products. In our company, experience and dynamism go together, so that we can create products that possess a unique look and always follow the latest trends of the fashion world and the global market we live in.

About 10 years ago we noticed that there was some stagnation and little innovation in the market for backpacks and accessories. Taking advantage of all the know-how acquired and with the aim of offering a different concept to the demanding young audience, in 2012 we created the GHUTS brand.
 
The brand's objective is to produce backpacks and school accessories that are distinguished by their strong image, at an excellent quality / price ratio.
 
Our team of designers, in partnership with some of the best Portuguese street artists, develop 50 new illustrations for each collection based on themes that our target audience identifies with, thus offering our customers the possibility of using a comfortable product on a daily basis, externalizing his style and identity.
 
The production is of premium quality 100% made in Portugal. As manufacturers, we have total control both in the production process and in the selection of raw materials, thus ensuring that our products withstand intensive daily use with total guarantee of comfort and durability.

Ghuts has now four collections: Ghuts School, Ghuts Trend, Peonnie Lovely Bags and Ghuts Travel. We combine the quality of the Portuguese manufacturing with original illustrations and design, so that we can provide our users with good experiences.

At GHUTS, our mission is to create innovative, practical and functional products for our audience. With that in mind, in 2023 we are launching our new children’s line, “Dreamy”.

Its illustrations were made to shine and show a perfect symbiosis between shades and colours and the materials chosen for each model. That gives “Dreamy” an extra punch, which won’t leave anyone indifferent and will surprise children and grownups alike.

In 2012, the first “Ghuts School” collection was born. The target audience of this collection is formed by young and active people who know the latest fashion trends.

Developed with the collaboration of some of the best Portuguese urban artists and street writers, this collection is the result of the combination of several areas and factors, such as music, art, style, attitude and movement. Entirely made in Portugal, the products of this collection are produced with top materials, so that they can resist an intensive daily use.

The Plain Colors Collection is our basic line. This line features the trendiest colours and lots of practical and functional models for you to use in your everyday life.
